Job Loss and Redundancy
Given the changing economic headwinds, redundancies are unfortunately becoming more commonplace in big & small organizations. A break in this psychological contract between the employee and the employer can be emotionally damaging and shake up one's sense of identity. It can also take a toll on the dependents of the employee who has been let go. In our therapy sessions, we deconstruct it from processing what this change means for you, how it impacts your life and career progression, process complex emotions of anger, loss and grief while preparing for change. A sliding fee scale is also available at Flannel Psychology if your role has been made redundant.
